Rhiannon (currentlyrhiding) | 34 comments Hi, friends! I'm Rhiannon (she/they), a 26-year-old lesbian currently living in the Midwest. I primarily read queer books, and recently I've been especially enjoying historical and/or fantasy romance. My latest read was an advanced copy of Freya Marske's upcoming novel Swordcrossed, which was wonderful, and I'm currently reading Clash of Steel: A Treasure Island Remix by C.B. Lee! If you're into similar books, feel free to add me, leave some recommendations, etc. 🧡🤍🩷

Lina Burghard | 10 comments Hi, Rhiannon! I'm Lina (she/her)- I am also a big queer book reader. What's been your favorite historical romance read? I haven't really drilled into that category just yet so I'm curious.

Love a good Sapphic read. What's the last one you read?

Hi there! I have two answers. The first is The Last Binding, which is a historical fantasy romance series by Freya Marske. The first and third books are M/M, and the second is F/F, but all three follow the same story, so the characters make appearances in every book. It's set in Edwardian England and has a really unique and interesting magic system, and the writing itself is pretty much flawless! The other answer would be a tie between We Could Be So Good and You Should Be So Lucky by Cat Sebastian, which are mid-century M/M romances set in New York City. They're low-stakes and tender and so beautifully written with some of the most lovable, endearing characters. I swear they took me on a guided tour of the full spectrum of human emotions. 💕

Michael Hi Rhiannon! Just picked up We Could Be So Good. Very excited to read it. Thanks again for the recommendation. I’m new to Goodreads, and only recently came out as bisexual, so all of this is kind of new to me. So thanks for being so nice. I’ll let you know what I think of the book once I get to read it. Take care ☺️

Oh, yay! I hope you like it! It's one of my all-time favorite books. Seeing Andy go through his little bisexual awakening after meeting Nick is so sweet and charming.

Brilliant. Thanks for the recs I'll add them to the never-ending TBR.

Brianna (brithebookbabe) | 13 comments Hello Rhiannon! I love your name first off. Huge Stevie Nicks fan (sorry if you hear that all the time!)
I am Brianna (She/ Her), but I go by Bri. I am a 28 year old who doesn't identify with a sexuality. I currently am living in the southeast. I read a bit of everything. From Queer Romance -> Dark Romance -> Mystery -> Thriller -> Young Adult.
I am currently reading Aurora's Angel by Emily Noon. I soooo suggest this to anyone who loves reading sapphic fantasy. It has shape shifters, realms, and spice. So I don't suggest this to my younger group members.

Hey, Bri! I'll have to check that one out! Thanks for the recommendation!

Rosie | 5 comments I just finished the Last Binding trilogy and can't recommend it enough. Great characterisation, brilliant world building and the relationship feel modern while still paying heed to the Edwardian setting.
