I am not very far through this book, but already I am loving the intricate way in which the main character's Autistic communication is described!

I am about to start chapter 5. When she talked about repeating other people’s pronunciation in her head and focusing on accents, I had one of those, “wait, I’m not the only one who does that?!?” moments. Can’t wait to keep reading!

Yes!! I'm on p58 and I am loving the dissection of Autistic speech, and how we interpret and decode others speech, how we roll it around in our minds...

I thought it was great all the way through, but devastating!
It was really quite upsetting to see an Autistic woman (mum) treated with such disdain, and being manipulated so easily, with such lonely consequences. We shouldn’t have to perform for family.
