can you read the wedding date series out of order?

I have the wedding party by Jasmine Guillory which is apparently the 3rd book in the wedding date series -I didn’t know that- but I read royal holiday for Christmas which is the 4th book in the series but it seemed fine as a stand alone. I didn’t love it so I’m fine with not reading the whole series but if I can read the wedding party as a stand alone I would love to do that to get it off of my physical tbr. Thanks!
