Exp: In this book, the main character and a couple other characters find themselves cursed with unusual illnesses by an elder gypsy who lost his daughter tragically and blames them for it. The protagonist famously loses weight relentlessly and tries to force the elder gypsy to remove his curse while the other two individuals rapidly succumb to their illnesses.
