Tracey Allen at Carpe Librum (carpelibrum) | 862 comments Some impressive numbers coming through! A lack of foresight in book choice for the readathon (and a busy weekend) meant very little reading progress on my two non fiction reads. I read a total of 126 pages of You're All Talk by Rob Drummond and 79 pages of Thinking with Your Hands: The Surprising Science Behind How Gestures Shape Our Thoughts by Susan Goldin-Meadow for a total of 205 pages read for the readathon.

message 146: by PattyMacDotComma (new)

PattyMacDotComma | 3321 comments I'd like to add that this is not a competition between ourselves! This is a collective effort to add whatever pages we've read to the Aussie Readers community score.

Nobody should ever feel they need to drop out if they aren't going to manage more than a few pages before nodding off at night. Every page counts, so I hope everyone feels free to add theirs, whether they've done a marathon read or just a handful of page. Right, Brenda?

I wonder how we compare with other groups for number of participants?

message 147: by Sarah (new)
