OMG! That is terrible Sharon! I'm reading her latest book right now, is published tomorrow. I had no idea - thanks for sharing. RIP Susan.

Where did you find the news Sharon - I can't find it online?
EDIT: Just saw it on Better Reading...

Has any one else stopped getting notifications? I haven’t had the little red number with my bell for over 10 hours - I have spent the last hour checking each of the thread a I am following and most of them have new posts in them!
Sigh - I want my emails back at last they still came through when the notifications stopped working.
Climbing back off my soap box now
No Sally, my notifications via the bell haven't stopped. But I'm with you regarding the emails! lol
I didn’t get either of these notifications. Just a me back and checked.
Some days I really dislike goodreads 😀

It was a book ball based off SJM ACOTAR series. Everyone was dressed up and sooo pretty

The readathon made a dent in the books I still have to read for Annual Challenges so I'm very happy about that! Thanks to you and Phrynne for organising it 💕

ASIF! But then we'll miss out on all her good Aussie recommendations!
Decided to put a bookcase of give and take books in the mailroom of our building. A very positive response so far.

I haven’t had any notifications for most of this year Sally 🤷🏻♀️ I’ve tried adjusting my settings but to no avail.

I'm sure it will prove very popular Marianne. I hope you also get some good books to read in return!

Great stuff!
Can we get a " Personal Challenges for 2025" folder started, please, Mods? ...So I can put my new Aussie Author 2025 challenge in it 😊

Looks great!
Finally, finally, finally, we have internet again, so I can actually do stuff without sitting on a folding chair in the fire escape and piggy-backing onto our upstairs neighbours' guest wifi, or lugging my laptop down to the library.

We were without it for 3 months when we moved. And trying to read contracts and document's on our phones for the sale of our house was no fun.
Sad to pass on the news that Aussie author John Marsden has died. Acclaimed author of the Tomorrow series, he'll be sadly missed.
