They like to forget previous groups exist I guess. And they also like to forget to bring any nuance to the argument, because it’s not just one group from any generation that “paved the way” for subsequent generations. Without multiple groups from multiple generations preceding the most current generation, things would not be the same. It’s not a question of one group making everything possible, they’ve all contributed

I struggled with a few 4th gen groups (Skz, Ateez, IVE) but the only group that I had a SERIOUSLY hard time with was Svt, I love them but why are there so many peopleee lol
