As far as the superheroes, jesucristo that is the coolest thing ever. I think I am going to get myself and my daughter a costume, and maybe my chihuahua, and go do some volunteer work. We'll be a superhero family.

And where are all the gods?
Where's the street-wise Hercules
To fight the rising odds?
Isn't there a white knight upon a fiery steed?
Late at night I toss and turn and dream
of what I need
I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night
He's gotta be strong
And he's gotta be fast
And he's gotta be fresh from the fight
I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the morning light
He's gotta be sure
And it's gotta be soon
And he's gotta be larger than life
Somewhere after midnight
In my wildest fantasy
Somewhere just beyond my reach
There's someone reaching back for me
Racing on the thunder end rising with the heat
It's gonna take a superman to sweep me off my feet
I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night
He's gotta be strong
And he's gotta be fast
And he's gotta be fresh from the fight
I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the morning light
He's gotta be sure
And it's gotta be soon
And he's gotta be larger than life
Up where the mountains meet the heavens above
Out where the lightning splits the sea
I would swear that there's someone somewhere
Watching me
Through the wind end the chill and the rain
And the storm and the flood
I can feel his approach
Like the fire in my blood
I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night
He's gotta be strong
And he's gotta be fast
And he's gotta be fresh from the fight
I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the morning light
He's gotta be sure
And it's gotta be soon
And he's gotta be larger than life
If they were serious about gaining indefinite knowledge from this accelerator, then they would also need to build a particle smasher at an equal distance, relative to the gravitational field generated by said accelerator in order to maintain the “black hole” for observation. Using the La Grange point between the two fields should be sufficient in maintaining the black hole indefinitely. Provided we can supply it with enough power to keep both working, and cross your fingers, we don’t suffer any mechanical failures. I don’t think I have to tell anyone here that would be… bad.
Okay, not intriguing. After I made the mistake of reading The Celestine Prophecy, I've avoided the genre.
Nothing wrong with entertaining crap, though. It's the crap crap that should be avoided.

My stepmother just told me about it.
