Chapter 1: (view spoiler)[I am not sure what exactly I was expecting to happen in this book but it certainly wasn’t the groom to have been possessed by a demon and the bridesmaid the only one to realise that everyone else was one under some kind of trance. Judging by the way Diego was hiding inside the closet, i am guessing he is the only other person to understand what’s happening (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 2-3: (view spoiler)[Damn they kissed already, i am guessing since this is a short novella things are moving forward at an alarmingly fast rate. No complaints though, i am definitely enjoying the story. Now that they have the spell prepared, i am intrigued to see if they would manage to exorcise the demon. I incorrectly assumed that it was a love match but now that we know it isn’t, i am wondering if the wedding would eventually take place or not (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 4-5: (view spoiler)[This is moving too fast for my liking, I want it to slow down so that I get to savour the characters and the plot of the book. Cat getting burned out and losing her magic made sense and made me feel bad for her but i am glad that it’s coming back to her now. The demon has still not been exorcised though and i am curious to see how and why it took over Matteo in the first place (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 6-8: (view spoiler)[lol so the abuela knew and yet did not interfere, exorcism indeed isn’t a good matchmaking device even though it did end up working for these two haha. I feel like the only scene that wasn’t rushed in this one was the steamy one, i for one won’t have minded if these many pages were dedicated to portray actual progress in their relationship. I hope them getting married right now was just a joke (hide spoiler)]

Finished: (view spoiler)[This was a fun one ngl, i am glad that Diego helped her see that she doesn’t need to work round the clock in order to earn love and appreciation and got her to slow down. I was surprised to learn that Caro herself called the demon in order to escape marrying Matteo, in all that madness it didn’t even hit to wonder who might have called it in the first place (hide spoiler)]

Ch2 (view spoiler)[ the book starts out really cutesy witch/magic. What is this spell and is she like a super strong witch, is that why she isnt affected by it? Of course Diego is her childhood rival turned hot haha (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ I am really liking this set up but I wish it was a novel so we could get more build. Everything is moving really fast and I want more relationship development between Cat and Diego. Given how powerful and large her family is it's surprising that they were all put under a spell and no one noticed. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ Okay, wow things are moving quickly. I am happy for her that she got her magic back. I figured it wouldn't be that easy to get rid of the demon, but things will be harder now that it knows they are trying to get rid of it. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ A black wedding dress was a choice. I had forgotten that her family didn't know about her magic, convenient for her that it returned before she needed to enchant the dress. These witchy innuendos are so bad I'm chuckling. I also enjoyed "why did you leave?" "Have you met my mother?"
Her theory about her magic is interesting and not what I would have expected but it makes sense. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ LOL at Abuela and her matchmaking scheme. That could have gone so badly, but lucky for her. I also chuckled at Caro's it's a sign from la Luna I'm not doing it when she was the one who (accidentally) called it. That was a fun twist. I also enjoyed the comment about Matteo has never been as interesting as he was that week.
Overall it was a fun read but I definitely prefer Alexis Daria's novels, there just wasn't enough space for the relationship-building I wanted. (hide spoiler)]

This is cute so far. The whole groom is possessed by a demon thing is fun and I like that Cat realized it right away. I'm curious how that happened? Also, Cat has mentioned she doesn't have a ton of magic now, I wonder what happened to it. I really like Cat and Diego together, the banter is excellent.

Wow, this demon is tougher than expected. Two attempts to get rid of it failed, I'm interested to see what they come up with next. And Cat has her magic again so that's good. Things are so good between Cat and Diego, I'm loving them together. The cheesy banter is so fun.

Them doing the exorcism during the ceremony was great, I'm glad it worked. I'm shocked the bride is the one who summoned to demon (even if it was on accident). I think it's funny though that Cat's grandmother wasn't under its' spell and didn't do anything about it.
