I checked it in WorldCat (the preferred source for page counts) and they have this one listed with 426 pages. Also Amazon indicates 448 pages for this edition.

Do you have the book in hand? If so, what comes after page 423? No matters if there is no page number. Does the book have blank or unnumbered pages?

Just to make sure I'm updating the pages correctly :)

there's a note from the author after, as well as acknowledgements which would bring it to 427 with the acknowledgements page
