anyone have tips on coming out as trans (ftm) at school? i go to a decently maga/conservative school

Hi, I hope you’re doing alright, Nat. I probably grew up in a more LGBTQ excepting environment so I’m not sure if my advice will be helpful. I’d work some trans topics into a conversation with a trusted friend or teacher and see how they respond. If they respond well then you could choose whether you feel safe telling them about your identity. It’s also import that you specify whether you’re okay with them talking about your identity with your parents. I hope this answer is helpful.

Nobody else is obligated to know your business.
You don't have to come out if you're not safe. You may need to find safe people in safe places before you come out at school.

what i did was come out to friends only and now i feel a little bit more like myself at school bc otherwise it would be unbearable

also id love to know if you are doing better rn!
