SOLVED. A woman map maker is trapped by a captain? But somehow escapes and pretends to be a Boy Scout or a map reader and falls in love with the captain? I think it’s a stand alone novel and set in a time where there’s no running water or electric.

I believe it didn’t have any paranormal characters in it but i’m not sure. I’ve been looking everywhere. I purchased it on kindle and it’s somehow gotten lost.
