Kaz | 7 comments I need a beta reader for my YA Fantasy novel. Someone who's not afraid to be honest, even when they're getting paid for it. I have edited as much as I can and need a fresh pair of eyes on it to help me by pointing out weak spots, boring sections, etc.

Preye (preyereads) | 132 comments Hello! I'd love to work with you as a beta-reader. I pride myself on delivering honest and straightforward feedback, couched in a series of actionable steps, and I don't skimp on feedback, regardless of whether I'm getting paid or not. Also, I can start immediately and would gladly have feedback prepared and sent by your deadline.

I honestly can't say which is more thrilling: the somewhat malevolent Santa or your male protagonist who clearly has a lot on his hands. But, I already know that I'm going to enjoy reading your work.

Here's a link to testimonials from other authors I have worked with in the past: https://editorialdawn.com/testimonials/

And you can learn more about my services here: https://editorialdawn.com/professiona...

Please message me here if you feel I'll be a good fit for your book (my account is open) or email me at preyeiwo@gmail.com, and I'll get back to you with more details (samples, project expectations, etcetera). Alternatively, I've sent you a friend request now, so please let me know if I can send you a message, and I'll do so immediately. And, if you'd like to start right away, there's a form on the service page above that you can fill and I'll contact you ASAP.

Either way, I really do look forward to working with you, and I'm available to answer any questions you have and address any concerns.

I can't wait to hear from you!

— Preye :)

Rachael (raelien92) | 34 comments Hello! I'd love to read your book. Fantasy is one of my favorite genres and I feel like this makes it so that I'm really familiar with the layout and how those kinds of stories normally progress. I'm also familiar with the kind of worldbuilding that happens and everything in it (magic systems, different factions, political games, etc.).

When I'm reading, I leave in-line comments so you can see my reactions as they happen. I also have a list of questions that I answer at the end so I can give you feedback on what worked and what can be improved. If there are still spots open, I'd love to work with you. Feel free to send me a message here or at raeswan92@gmail.com. Hope to hear from you soon!

Rachael

Melinda Taylor (mtaylor67) | 92 comments I have beta reading, proofreading, and editing experience and have written many book reviews for books on different platforms. I can beta read a book of any length and can work with any book genre. I am hardworking, reliable, responsible, organized, detail oriented and meet deadlines. I am an effective cross functional communicator, rapid and adaptive learner, committed high receiver, skilled collaborator, dynamic solution-oriented professional. I love beta reading, proofreading, editing and writing reviews and look forward to writing yours.
I am interested in your book. It sounds like an amazing story. I am trying to get back into beta reading, proofreading, and editing after a hiatus and this would be a wonderful start. I have experience with a variety of genres and would love to find out if we are a good fit. I have worked with authors on Goodreads, Amazon, and Upwork. I am excited to get started since I love to read and review books. I look forward to hearing from you and wish you all the best in your book's success whether you choose me to work with or not.
Here are my Upwork reviews:
"Melinda delivered excellent work on this project and we enjoyed working with her. Her communication was top-notch, she met all deadlines, and her skills were strong. She adapted and learned whatever had to be learned. At one point we asked for an additional milestone, and she was very forthcoming and happy to meet our new, changing requirements. She was hands-on through the entire process. Her greatest strength has to do with seeing the tiny details, some of which we did not see ourselves. On a personal note, I enjoyed working with her and undoubtedly have additional jobs for her in the future. Don’t hesitate. Hire her!"

"I would work with Melinda again. Her prompt communication, adherence to deadlines, and cooperation was much appreciated, and mark her as a true professional. She's very skilled at what she does, and I couldn't have asked for more. Thank you!"

"Great work! Will definitely rehire for future projects requiring reviews."

"Amazing job! Would definitely recommend her!"

"Excellent job"
