Ok so Amelia is a bit of a brat so far but considering she was raised spoiled and to be a duchess, that's not a complete surprise. Benedict being the grandson of a Marquess was a surprise although he doesn't seem to want to claim that part of himself. I am curious to see how things play out with these two as it's not going well so far.

I like that Amelia took control of the household, she was right about hiring people helping out the locals. And I like that she's taken an interest in his work. Their relationship is also starting to get better which is nice.

Ok Benedict was kind of an ass about becoming the new heir there, he never even considered Amelia may have been friends with his cousin that died. I am interested to see how Benedict now being a member of the aristocracy will affect things.

Chapters 25-34

Benedict was awful to Amelia there. It was not her fault that things were going wrong and he was wrong to blame her and send her away. I'm glad they managed to work things out. Overall I did enjoy this but there were a few too many moments of the main characters being awful to each other.
