Melanie, if you can review "Only Home with You", then I can move Jenny's O book to E and put yours in the O slot!

Hey Ashley here is my review for Nantucket nights
https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
i cant access the SS right now so if someone wanted to add that to the spell out that would be great
I put Big Fish on the SS but it only works for a SIO if needed. Should I leave it there or remove it? If it does work for anything else, I'm not sure what but definitely not for Route Info.
Vicki, I added it to the spell out, but we will wait on posting, to make sure we can complete the entire spell out! I can post it once we are sure!
Ashley wrote: "Vicki, I added it to the spell out, but we will wait on posting, to make sure we can complete the entire spell out! I can post it once we are sure!"we still need an E on the first spellout too.
Here's the books I have reviewed that we can use for whatever. Against All Odds: Breaking Hearts Duet by Bre Rose
Rage Quit by Kira Roman
Silent Bluejay: Cops Gone Rogue by Anne C. Ford
In Dreams by Mila Crawford
Satan's Affair by H.D. Carlton
Does It Hurt? by H.D. Carlton
Santa Daddy: A DDlg Christmas Romance by K. Carty
Tame Her: A DDlg Romance by K. Carty
The Catch by K. Carty
Amethyst by Lesley Clark
Diamond by Lesley Clark
have you added them to the SS? check though this week's tasks and see if they work for anything, if not, we can try to work them in the spell out

I added Jammin Jenny's book for the last E for the first spell out. Jenny, if you don't know if you'll finish it, let me know. I think that just leaves your review Kade, whenever you get it done. I can post that spell out in the review thread after that if needed.
Looks like Vicki posted her book for the spell out, so lets try to get these last reviews done... here is what is still neededR: Melanie A Dangerous Collaboration
O: Melanie The House on Sunshine Corner
J: Melanie The Heiress Hunt
A: Melanie All the Missing Girls
R: Melanie My Highland Spy
I have an A book and an O book that I can move from Route Info if we need them, so the ones I bolded need to go first, if there is a time constraint!
If anyone has a book that works, that's been reviewed, or one you know will be finished & reviewed before Friday midnight, go ahead and stick it in!
I’ll have all my reviews done between tonight and tomorrow day. This round goes until the 19th right?

This round will cover seven (7) days.
Start: May 20th at 12:00 AM (in your time zone)
End: May 26th at 11:59 PM (in your time zone)
Please check in on May 26th between 4:00 - 6:00 PM Eastern. This doesn’t mean you can stop reading for the round, it’s just the team checking in for bonus points.
Route Info: These will be generally easy tasks to complete for each leg of the race. This portion will have at least 15-20 tasks per leg. All repeatable.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>1. 15. Read a book where the series title has the letters B, E, L, G, I, U, M in it (in any order)
Detours: This will be a list related task. Teams will have two lists to choose from and will need to read 5 books from one list. This can be completed by at least two people from a team (one person cannot complete this task). The name chosen for the new state is derived from the Latin word Belgium, used in Julius Caesar's "Gallic Wars", to describe a nearby region in the period around 55 BCE. Belgium has also been the battleground of European powers, earning the moniker the "Battlefield of Europe", a reputation reinforced in the 20th century by both world wars.
Read a book found on the World War I Books or World War II Books listopia
Roadblocks begin at line #225 on the spreadsheet tab. There’s about 6 spell-outs available - please let me know if you need more.
Roadblocks: This will be a spell-out task. Each team will get the same word. It can be completed as many times as you can. If you start a spell-out and don't complete it, you will be penalized by 5 bonus points per uncompleted word.MICHELIN GUIDE: ✤ MICHELIN GUIDE ✤Belgium is famous for beer, chocolate, waffles and French fries. The national dishes are "steak and fries", and "mussels with fries". Many highly ranked Belgian restaurants can be found in the most influential restaurant guides, such as the Michelin Guide.
Yield: Each team will have up to 3 yield opportunities (once per month). After the task has been revealed and read for, the team will then decide who to use their 'Yield' against. By yielding, you will be taking away 20 bonus points from that team.Since the installation of Leopold I as king on 21 July 1831, now celebrated as Belgium's National Day, Belgium has been a constitutional monarchy and parliamentary democracy, with a laicist constitution based on the Napoleonic code.If you want to use your yield this week - please read for the following:Read a book that has the word 'KING' found in text (pg/% & quote) and was published in July (any year)
Intersections: This will be a buddy read related task. Meaning you will have to work with someone new (whether on your team or another) and read a book together. The buddy can also be someone in the group but not participating in the challenge. You will need to have at least 4-5 comments per buddy read.Read a book with someone new within the group. BOTM can also count for this task. This can be repeatable.
U-Turns: Just like the yield task, each team will have up to 3 U-turn opportunities (once per month). After the task has been revealed and read for, the team will then decide who to use their 'U-turn' against. By forcing another team into a U-turn, you will be taking away 10 bonus points from that team.Belgium's political institutions are complex; most political power rests on representation of the main cultural communities. Since about 1970, the significant national Belgian political parties have split into distinct components that mainly represent the political and linguistic interests of these communities. If you want to use your U-turn this week - please read for the following:Read a book where the main character goes to a party and has been tagged 'POLITICAL' at least 10 times
Speed Bumps: After check-in day, if your team was randomly selected for last place, you will have this task to complete. It will be a super easy task that one person can complete. For example, 'Red hair on cover (any book edition will count)' or 'Published in January (any year)'.Read a book with an MPG of GRAPHIC NOVEL or COMIC
Switchback: This will also be revealed after check-in days and will be a task related to where the team was previously.
In the Guaraní language, an official language of Paraguay, Brazil is called "Pindorama". This was the name the indigenous population gave to the region, meaning "land of the palm trees".Read a book that has the words 'PALM TREE' found in text (pg/% & quote)

thanks! gonna attach the review links for that and my other spellout claim in a sec.
Sorry was busier at work than usual today and didn't have a chance to check in.
Which books do you need from me for the current spell outs? Was it just Only With You? I'm working on the review for that one now and will post it shortly.

Ashley wrote: "Kade, do you want me to post for you, or are you doing it? I don't want to overpost!!"you can post my spellouts for me if you'd like!
i'm done with all of those. I just need to finish off my detour reads and post their review links when I'm done.
Do we think all the other detour books will be done in time? Should i try to finish one more just in case?
It's always a toss up! Jenny usually gets her things finished, Shia is quiet in the thread, so I suppose we could message her??
Ashley wrote: "It's always a toss up! These are the books i'm debating on for the detour for next cycle if anyone wants to BR -The Boy in the Striped Pajamas
Night
The Orphan's Tale
Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children
Auschwitz: A Doctor's Eyewitness Account
I'm going to be a backup, emergency only for the Detour List. I have a few books I can read, but I'm trying to get done with some others and these are low priority until then. If we are feeling itchy Wednesday, I can jump in with one.
I cleaned up the Banked Books tab a bit, it was getting hard to figure out what has been posted or not, and separated things so we can more easily see what's been reviewed, what hasn't, etc. Please don't check the box unless you move your book to the Week tab. If your book needs a review, and you have time, please go for it!

[ night has like 150 pages ].. we are going on a "staycation" next week so i'm hoping to just focus on the kids those two days lol.. but we shall see.
Ok.. total honesty here… I’m completely confused with the weekly tabs and that is why I have just been posting everything to the banked book tabs. This challenge is still a bit new to me so I’m still just figuring it out. I read/listen to plenty so please just bare with me. 🙂
Raquel wrote: "Ok.. total honesty here… I’m completely confused with the weekly tabs and that is why I have just been posting everything to the banked book tabs. For certain tasks, we need a certain number of books to be read to earn the points. for example - detour. we need a minimum of 5 books to be read to earn the points. For Detour, we are given the option to choose one list out of two the mod gives us. Then we have to choose the 5 books from that one list.
