Is the shadow and bone series worth it?

I finished the soc duology and I love the universe sm but I have heard pretty bad things ab sab. I also really want to watch the Netflix series mainly because of the crows but idk if I should considering I haven’t read sab.

its def not even half as good as the SoC duology. there were also some problematic themes in the SaB books that got taken out of the show. imo the romance wasn't good either... obvi everyone is different and a lot of ppl love them, but i think the show is telling the story better and would probs recommend just watching that

I just finished reading the first SaB book and I personally really liked it but it’s definitely not for everyone.

tbh if you alr read SoC, S&B is just a mediocre YA fantasy, i would only recommend it if one hasn't read SoC

i love soc so much but snb books were no where near as good
you can give them a try I guess but they aren’t it (except for nikolai and the darkling)
on the other hand, the tv show was so good you should definitely watch it !!
