Yes, definitely. I find that sometimes the music matches the mood in the book in a particular scene.
When I listen to it afterwards, I'm reminded of that particular scene when I heard that song. Does that make sense?

I'm a "need background sound to function" kind of person. Usually it's TV on a volume just loud enough to hear but not loud enough to distract me. If I listen to music, it's usually instrumental but it can throw me off. Like if a scene is supposed to be spooky but the music playing is upbeat and light lol.

Right now I'm reading Pet Sematary and there's a soundscape video for it on YouTube. It's alright, but it makes me kind of sleepy hahaha

I have to listen to music to focus on what i'm reading. I usually listen to classical music or movie soundtracks. It makes what i'm reading more fun too.
