We saw him perform at a casino several years ago. He hung around after the show and chatted with everyone, told jokes, took pictures, and signed autographs. He introduced himself to my husband and I and said we were too young to know who he was.

So this is weird but I was watching TCM last night. The theme of the night was movies with actors who died in 2023 and the movie was Absence of Malice. I hadn't realized Melinda Dillion died until I looked it up. And I didn't remember if anyone had posted it here until I found this post. Strange that this post was the only mention of Ralphie's mom passing and no one talked about it.
