"I'm reading a autobiography for a class. Which year are you in, I'm in Year 5" Hunter said, resting her chin in her palms.

She smiled and crossed her legs at the ankles. "I'm in year 5. Are you enjoying the book?"
"I am! It's quite interesting but it's so very long! Can I help you with your essay? I am good at writing!"((ngl, they'd make a good couple))
((riiiight???))She brightened slightly at the thought of hanging out with her more. "That's great! What is it about?" She asked. She nodded a little bit, "Yeah! You can help out if you want to! It's more like a story for my creative writing elective," she told her. "I have to write from an exaggerated point of view of my past self."
Hunter, in her heart, was full of joy to stay with Arabella. But outside, she pursed her lips and said, "It's about an inventor who was only known for creating the TV- John Logie Baird. And wow! Can I sit next to you?" she reddened, adding, "to see your story, course"
She didn't notice Hunter's pursed lips as she smiled and nodded, "Yeah! Sure." Arabella quickly logged into her computer and pulled up what she had already written.
Hunter looked at it and said, "Hm...it's nice, but we can improve your vocab a bit... and also it's kinda uninteresting, Lala" she said, clicking a few keys on the computer, tucking her hair behind her ears. "There we go! It's much better now!"
She laughed a little to hide her small blush. Lala? She reread what she had wrote and nodded, "Yeah, that is better. Thanks! I haven't really confirmed what I'm writing about yet. You said it's boring, so that's probably why."
((maaaybe they can be a couple?))Hunter's concentrated face broke out into a huge grin. For some reason, she wanted, so very desperately, to impress Arabella. "That's great! And you should probably take your time in writing, so that, you know, you are clear about your topic. I'm in a club for essaying back at home." she took a breath, she'd never spoken this long. "So, I have not seen you around, you new here?"

Arabella perked up a little when Hunter mentioned her club. She didn't think anyone else joined clubs like that. She forced herself to calm down a little and nodded, "Yeah, uhm, I am. I moved here last fall. I've kind of been keeping low until I could get used to everything."

"We can be friends..." Hunter said shyly. "I'm also new here."

((yeah, yeah that'd work but i think hunt is already crushing on arabella xx))Hunter's grin was so wide. "Please, call me Hunt. And maybe we could work on my autobiography paper together? We were supposed to find partners but I couldn't...Will you work with me, Arabella?"
((aww..))She nodded again, still beaming, "Alright, Hunt. I'll be your partner. And please, call me Bella, or what was it you called me earlier?" She asked, teasing, "Lula? Lila? Lala?"

Hunt laughed along with her. "Anyway," she reached out and took the book, "Lala, this is my paper- John Logie Baird. And worse, I hate TV and I have to write about him."
Bella's face twisted a little in concentration as she looked over the paper. She read the synopsis on the back of the book. "Okay, well, he basically started television." She smiled a little and corrected her, teasing, "We have to write about him. It'll be alright. It isn't like we have to watch television to get this done."
Hunter laughed. "Not only that, I have to write about his personal life. Why would I wanna know about his mistresses? Why would anyone?" she then smiled. "Of course. I guess we both together can do it."
She laughed a little, "Our teacher does, of course, which is why she's making us do the research for her!" She nodded, "We can do it, it'll be about as fun as paper writing can be."
"That's common sense! And it'll be fun to do, when there's someone beside you." Hunter said solemnly, staring at Arabella with a smile.
She smiled, "Especially when I'm doing it with you."((me: too flirty already? maybe
also me: do i necessarily care? nope))
((same))Hunter said, "That, is so true!" she broke away from her gaze and turned to Arabella's laptop, on which they were doing the paper. "Here we go, intro." She had typed out an intro. "How is it?"
((ok i am going now..will continue later- maybe at 11pm your time? byeeeee))
Bella read the intro, nodding along, "It's great! I loved how you worded the hook." She started typing out one of the body paragraphs, which was about Baird's childhood and his college education. "What do you think?" She asked.
((bye! i'm going to go to bed since you're leaving, i'll be back on at like... 7am my time, so like 6pm your time? not sure if that's right. in about 10 hours.))
"it's lovely." was all hunter said. she then said, "we can probably work on this later. but for now, let's get some food. "

Hunter smiled at her. "Good. Now let's get outta here and get.some.fooooooood!" she whisper-yelled.((transition to cafeteria at around 6pm ist. and 7am your time))
Gemma walked into the library 10 minutes later. She looked around for Madeline, but she didn't see her. Dread began to pool in the bottom of her stomach. What if she didn't show up?
Gemma was relieved that Maddie showed up more than mad. She waved in greeting as she spoke, "Hey!"
Gemma waved it off, "It's fine! Let's get started, though. Did you think of a topic?"
Gemma nodded, "I did have one.. what if we covered the gender inequalities in society? Or more specifically how women are targeted in general?"
She smiled and got up to find some books.
Gemma brought the books that she found to the computer Maddie was at.
A couple of hours later, they had a good amount of information down. "Break time?" she suggested.
She laughed, "You could've suggested it first!"
She laughed and shook her head, "Well now you know for future reference."
She laughed again, "Where should we go? I know a really nice cafe in town."
Millie walked in with a frustrated sigh. She got out her book and started reading. She thought it was the closest thing she could do to what a 'nerd' would do
Theo walked in and looked around. It probably surprised those who cared to learn it, but he loved to read. He pulled one of his favorites off the shelf and sat in a corner chair and began reading.
Millie slightly glanced up to see who had just entered the library too. not him again. I swear he's just following me she thought but then decided it wasn't such a bad thing. She had just got up to her favourite part of the book
