Lily-Pond Academy discussion
Liam was studying for school and chilling around in quietness, he smiled and yawned, resting his head on the desk in front of him. "Quietness..."
Raymon was asleep in the front of the library with a book on top of his head to make it look like he might have been reading the book.
Adrielle walks in, the serene feeling of the library is always calming, she sits on a couch and starts reading a book.
Liam got up and shoved Raymon out of his seat and woke him up. "Wake up. The library is for reading or studying, not sleeping."
He fell onto the floor "ack! what the hell! dude!" he looked over to the guy who shoved him out of his seat "oh it's you"
Liam stood up and took the boy's arm off him, grabbing his stuff. "Whatever. I'm going to my next class."
Ellaine walked in to the library. She was glad that it was empty, so she went to the Conspiracies section and picked out a book to read. (someone rp! i need a convo)
She was bored of being alone. then, shesuddenly saw a boy walking towards the same section, so she stood up to greet him.
Will had been in one of the sections about physiology before he shook his head and changed directions, walking another way to a different isle. Spotting someone making their way towards him out of the corner of his eye, he flinched and lowered his head. ‘Please no, please no, please no-’ He begged in his thoughts, taking a sharp turn to go into the isle he had set his mind on going to—which would be the mythological/fantasy books.
Ellaine sensed the hesitation in the boy. so she went up to him and signed, Hi, i'm Ellaine. Is everything alright?
Jumping slightly, Will responded in sign language quite quickly.
“Yes, I’m fine. Just..” He paused, lowering his hands for a moment as he looked around the library. Of course, what else could he say besides studying? The whole point of a library....books. “..Looking for a new book?”
He stopped at her question, raising a brow. “I’ve never read those books before.”
Oh! Well, this book called Caravans Galore is pretty good! What's your name, by the way? Ellaine asked the boy in sign code.
Ellaine jumped. then she signed, My, my, you've never read conspiracy or what? there are some pretty cool books for that
((Could you put your messages all in one? It’s a bit hard having to go back and edit when I have 5 other notifs to answer.. -^-“))
Will shook his head. “I have never read conspiracy, though my older brother has a few books in his room. I’ll check out Caravans Galore, though. Sounds neat.” He paused, silently debating whether or not he should tell this girl his name. Sighing without any sound coming out, He replied in sign language with. “I’m Will. Just Will.”
(Sure. Sorry!)Ellaine smiled. The boy would love caravans galore. Yeah, you should check it out. It's by Nika Daisy. Will, huh? It's an awesome name!
Will sheepishly scratched the back of his neck with a nervous smile. “Since you’re basically pleading me to, sure, I’ll check it out later today.” He replied, but when she said his name was actually cool his cheeks turned an embarrassed shade of crimson. “Thank you, though the name William is quite common….what’s your name?”
The brunette knew quite well that if he were to speak, he’d be stuttering horribly.
Ellaine knew he had a stutter...she just knew- it was instinctive. But she then said, "Look, Will. I think you can hear me. Having a stutter is OK. I had one too.. but speaking it out helped me. Wont you try? she said while signing the same thing to him.
"I'm Ellaine Jones."
Will, again, sighed without releasing any sounds of air or even words after it. “I can’t talk. But if you want to, then you can. Ellaine is a beautiful name, by the way.” He signed simply, listening to her full sentences before responding.
Ellaine sighed, a soft pink on her cheeks. " thanks for the compliment. I hardly ever recieve them."She smiled at Will. "Well, why don't you have a seat and read? It'll be fun!"
“Same thing here, unless ‘zombie boy’ counts as a compliment.” He smiled and nodded in agreement. “Yeah. I’m gonna grab what I was here for real quick, though. You can go sit if you’d like. Or ditch me, like what I’m so used to.”
The thing is, everyone knew who ‘zombie boy’ was, but they never spoke of his real name, which just seemingly faded out of existence. Will remembers one time his science teacher even called him that on accident. But here, he was a whole new person. He wasn’t the kid who had foul words written by others on his locker. He wasn’t the kid who was deemed as some weird, childish nerd. He wasn’t the kid who everyone thought as some undead kid. He was just….Will.
