OK. I've tried numerous times, but keep being rejected on the claim to my GR author page.

I used Page Publishing for Morris and it is listed on Amazon as both a paperback and Kindle. I've put links for both and do not have a Kindle Direct Publishing email. I've tried several configurations, but keep getting the 'Your application to the Goodreads Author Program has unfortunately not been successful' for lack of information reply.

If anyone else has been through this and figured out what was missed, any advice would be helpful. Thank you.

I hope things are going well for you, Art. I did see your book, "Morris" on Amazon. Since you published with Page, I cannot see how or why you would want to be with Kindle Direct. Kindle Direct is for self-publishing using their platform. I am self-published through KDP and also on my own for other books. This shouldn't prevent you from getting an Author Account at Goodreads. The problem is probably because you have a 'reader' account that needs to be changed to "author'.

Hi Molly, All good here, thank you. Hope all is well with you. No, I'm not at all unhappy with Page, but am still new to this and looking at alternatives. Now looking at publishing a sci-fi trilogy, talking to others it sounds like KDP might be less costly and maybe have more marketing baked-in or available at lower costs. Just exploring now. The books are still in-work (not even editing yet), so I have time to do this.

On the account, thank you for the advice. I've looked and don't see a designation as 'reader' or 'author' to change on my profile. Where would I find that? Thanks!

Although I'd like more reviews of Antunites Unite. I'm okay with Lynn (who has read book 1) reading Antocracy (book 2 of the trilogy), if you prefer to read them in order. They are all stand alone, though, with enough background to follow.

I've reviewed Audrey's book, Where There's Smoke There's Fire, so I will read Masquerading our Love, which is the next in the series. And I've read Lynn's book, Bye-Bye Magpie, so I'll be reading Duplicity of Power instead. If both of them are OK with that, I'm good to go. :)

Please don't read Duplicity of Power for this round. That book is not the fantasy novella that I referred to back in message 18, and it doesn't fit the round theme. As I said in message 79, the fantasy novella is Trial Run.
