Is there a way to see statistics regarding the percentage of books you read in different genres and not just how many books you read overall each year?

(A problem with trying to create one would be the matter of defining "genres" in the first place, since that can be somewhat individual and subjective.) When I write up my annual reviews of "20__ on Goodreads," I write my own genre stats in terms of book numbers (though I don't usually try to calculate exact percentages), just by referring to my list. (I keep a paper list, and Goodreads will also show you a visual list on your "Year in books" feature. Of course, its easy for me to do the counting, since I usually only read 30-some books a year.) Hope this helps!
Thank you! I was just looking for a chart. I realize that a book that I consider to be a mystery might be a historical romance from someone else's perspective. I ended up creating a chart for myself, like you do...
