Thank you, Michelle! I haven't spent much time at the beach this summer. In the past my daughter taught surfing and I was hauling kids to her lessons. This year she got picked up as a summer school teacher, more money than teaching surf.
Robin wrote: "Great list! I'm interested in hearing your thoughts on the new Karin Slaughter book. Happy reading!"I #1 on my Library Hold list, so I hope to get it soon after the publication date.
Thank you, Lauren! I'm especially looking forward to reading Overkill. Sandra Brown is one of my favorite authors.
Nice list! I see Karen Rose has a new release. I am going to add it my list. I love books set in New Orleans. Most have a dark, mysterious undertone.
I can’t wait to get Overkill and am interested in what you think. I’m such a Sandra Brown fan. So impressive that you’re keeping up with Karen Rose. I fell behind and can’t seem to catch up.
Great list and see you in our group read discussions! Enjoy.

Overkill is still available on NetGalley, both e-book and audio, I saw it there yesterday. I really like Karen Rose, so I track her new releases and recommend them to my library. Berkley publishes her and they don't like me, so I have no chance of every getting an ARC.
My library is great about buying her releases so I’m going to wait a bit. I’m so snobby about the audio apps😏
I understand. Some of the ARC's I've gotten haven't been the best quality. I often think I should have just waited for the library e-book.

Wonderful news, Jonetta! Enjoy! My hold for Quarter to Midnight came in yesterday too right after I had started Partners. So many great books, so little time!
Great list. Lots of authors I read. Is that Catherine Coulter book part of her FBI series. So behind in that series!
