The full force of the FBI came out to help find and rescue Kane & Sean. Your thoughts about how the rescue was executed and how Kane & Sean played a role? Lucy made the hard decision to leave and help rescue the boy, Bobby…what did that tell you about her?

Robin (robinmy) | 2466 comments Lucy had faith that the rescue squad would get Sean & Kane out of danger. Lucy knew the FBI had a team in place to storm the building where Kane & Sean were being held. She also believed that they would be rescued. She believed that she could help track Bobby and save his life.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3501 comments I agree. As much as Lucy wanted to be there for the rescue, she knew that the team would get Sean and Kane out. Lucy needed to save Bobby.

Her actions told me that she trusts her team, and that she needed to go where she was needed at that moment.

Trust is the operative word here and as hard as that decision was, the SWAT Team Leader had instilled that trust pretty quickly. Every move he made jibed with her thinking and he deferred to her when it was obviously appropriate. It was a telling moment.

That rescue was just poetry. And, it helped that Kane knew what was coming and gave Sean and those boys a heads up to protect themselves. Juarez’s men and Gomez didn’t have a chance. This was pretty exciting.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2973 comments I agree with Jonetta, the rescue scene was great. Kane was very perceptive about what was going on outside and he and Sean really helped save lives.

Lucy knew she couldn't add anything to the rescue team and trusted them to do their jobs. She knew that Juarez would use Bobby and that he was in danger, and he needed her more.

She pegged Juarez perfectly. The boy was expendable.
