I don't think I am doing this one, it doesn't sound like it has been written that well.
I don't think I will either. I don't have the time and I like the tv show too much
Hi Jason and Ness, I have just finished The 100 and it is well written. I to love the TV series - it is my favourite on TV. There are some differences to the show but we learn what life was like up there much more than the show. My advice - don't miss out. I can't wait to get my sticky paws on book 2&3 :)
I want to read the book first before I check out the show, but I heard great things about it (meaning the show here)@Linda so does the show follow the book much or is it just the same concept but they change a lot?
I will finnish my current book for another read-a-long and then start this one
Finished it and really enjoyed it. Very fast paced and obviously just a set up for a bigger picture, but good characters and intriguing plots. It kinda reminded me of Lost.
Hi Tinka, the show does follow the book mostly but there are a few changes like some characters in the book not in the show and the other way round, also you learn more about life on the spaceships in the book but if you like one you will like the other. I loved Lost with a passion but only saw two series as it went to Sky and I don't have it. Could buy the box sets I suppose but I keep hoping it will be repeated somewhere.
I think I will check the show out when I have the time. I would love to see more world building because it was something I was missing from the book. I hope you'll get the other seasons of Lost somewhere. I loved it as well.
I might give it a go too now, I need a book made into a TV series for the challenge so it will be either this one or orange is the new black.
