"Because I'm not comfortable with that for a bit." she shrugged
"No it's okay. I'm not used to ... well gentle intimacy ... so it's all pretty new." she told him pulling away to smile at him gently.
"You ready to go back?" she asked
She picked up the soup she had dropped and stuffed it into her pack.
"Okay. Ready" she told him
He nods and puts an arm around her and walks
"I don't want it to get cold." she complained
"More cuddling though." she figured he'd like that
"Yeah I don't know of you will like that."
"We'll I mean like it as much as me"
"Oh, well maybe. How do you know I don't?" she asked seriously.
"We've cuddled for a couple weeks now. I do enjoy it." she assured him
"You are going to make my cheek chap." she teaswd
"Because I'm all tingly again." she bumped him with her shoulder and sighed when they stepped into the schools gym again.
"What are you grinning at?"
"Fine." she stuck her tongue out at him
Her eyes widened in shock and she pushed him away.
He said "that's what you get for sticking your tongue at me"
She turned and walked away, shoving her shaking hands in her pockets.
She scooped up their blankets and bags and headed for the home ec room. "I'm going to sort out stuff if you want to join me." she told him quietly
He goes with her"sorry" he mumbled
"Huh?" she asked glancing over at him as she shoved the blankets they were keeping in the washer and started it.
"Please tell me." she turned to him
"It's truly nothing I promise,"
"Hungry yet or still full?" she asked dumping their bags contents and sorting the stuff
