0. Read a book with either blue or yellow on the cover, teams decide which. No pass for this task.I am sure we are all aware of the nightmare taking place in Ukraine over the past month and a half. To honor the Ukrainians’ strength and sorrow, the first task is to read a book with a color from the Ukrainian flag. Teams decide which color, blue or yellow. The selected book need to be primarily the selected color. No pass for this task.
So Blue or Yellow?
I think Blue is easier, but happy to go with either.

Will leave it up to you girls as I have a book ready to go no matter which color is decided.

Fair enough, tbh I think they will both be fine with blue too. As Darkness mentioned as option for the other color cover one and Michaele seemed open to go with majority, as long as mix onr and contemp options.I think be a while till darkness be on as its later for her then it is for me, i think like 1 am there? As midnight for me, usually id be asleep now but on break.

Yep. Just put off starting a new book when I finished one this afternoon and am jonsing on my reading fix.
Going to Bible study will check in after Bible study and dinner.

Not likely because I won't ever willingly choose something dark I don't mind average vampires but gore fest not happening.

Review: Simon, a mage, and Gray, a werewolf alpha, are the first mates of different other species. Current belief is they shouldn't be together for any reason, not even to rescue children. It is against rules of their societies. But there is true love and respect in Simon and Gray. And something isn't right with the Mages' conclave.
I think blue is good decision bc yellow are kind of hard to find. Yes m/f have some illustraded yellow cover but m/m no as much.

I've kind of been avoiding this book, I knew it'd be overwhelming with all the Wildes and Marions in one place. And it was. The romance was sweet (if a little too insta love for me), but it was overshadowed by all of the other characters.

I wanted to love this book, but sadly while it had potential it never completely worked for me. Both MCs had more chemistry with side cast and crew members, then they did with each other. Very much lacking romance, just forced proximity and the mating contract.
The world building was interesting though, I'm weak for sci fi and exploration of new planets/action and missions. This did give star trek vibes to start, which is perfect for me and I liked Del at first with his not giving in. True his headstrong and makes foolish choices, but it made sense so his sudden change in the latter half was disappointing.
Quinn didn't really grow on me, nor did any of the Xolians for the most part they seemed very stuck up and must be in control - they're always right and everyone else is stupid. Never listened to anyone but each other, got frustrating and boring very quickly.
Overall it was fastaced and entertaining enough to keep me reading, but it was a chaotic mess of events. They have a happy ending for now, with the next book in the series continuing their story but I'm not invested enough to continue.

Two best friend. One can see ghost.One is his protector. Scott died at age of 8 for 23 min and can see ghost since age of 9 he but didnt told anyone. Afraid what ppl we think about him. After some time and after so many his episodes her left bc he coudnt bear to see his loved one hurting bc of him. Year past and Ti's mom came to him and told him that Tim is in truble. So he cane back home.
This was so hardbreking and i like two mc together. They were everthing.

Hey! It was lovely thanks had great weather and nice catch up with friend. The canoe activity didn't exactly agree with us though, little bruised but was a laugh 😂I started my book on train home and just finished now cosy at home.

Just realized I'm going to have to pick something else, I thought the book was new release for 19th April but see it has another page for Nov 2020 now... Sorry.

A lovely bodyguard romance, where the protectee us a country superstar. Colton is the singer getting threats after he come out as gay, but what disturbs his manager the most i the gifts showing up in his penthouse apartment becue they are his favorites and only a few people have a key and would know how to get in without checking in the front desk. Rand, a former SEAL, own the firm and agrees to be Colton's fake boyfriend as a good cover for being with Colton without revealing he is the bodyguard. Some intense scenes in this story.

Review: I might be a little harsh with this rating. It's a good book, but it just dragged for me. I also didn't really feel the connection between the two MCs. I'm not in the best place right now, so maybe it's just me.

I'm going to do a full review some point, but I must say i enjoyed this book so much! Considering I've been uncertain aboutthe series for ages.
Fell in love with Noah & Adam so quickly, enjoyed getting to see the brothers too and their father was fun. Calliope was great! I loved the central plot and all of the action, dark and gritty moments. It was just the right amount for me and their "Maybe I love you" is perfect!

I love this series. This is the most recent book in the series. So rare for me to catch up to the series but with this one it happened. Because this is a historical romance who have powerful independent women who are working and all books have an Arabic rep. In the first two books are female areb rep but in this one male lead is half Arabic. He is a marquess who doesn't like noble and people don't know anything about him. They think he has a harem of women which is not true. He is really down to earth and is really respectful. So because he was kind of cheth of some of his lands by this well know mapmaker he chose to be his footman and found his secret and get back what he needs. He ends up being Rose's footman who is actually a mapmaker but everybody thinks it is her husband because how can a woman make these stunning and well-made maps. She is a good woman but in an unhappy marriage and her husband doesn't respect her and he wants to be one of the ton even though they are just normal people and spend money on something which is unesesery while his servant eath so little and tea is made by already used leaves. I did like Rose and Brandon's connection and how things happened. He did say at the beginning that he would marry the last season diamond to rub it off on ton but he end up falling to married woman what a scandal.

When were you at Disneyland Michaele? I took two of the grandkids there last Monday and it was busier than I had seen it in a LONG time! I imagine the whole week was that busy, seemed to be the peak of spring break for a lot of districts - that is why we were there, the kids were out of school. We went again yesterday (they also had this Monday off), and it was quite nice - lower crowds and great weather too.
