Attempting to become a GoodReads Author

Hi!

I am one of the authors in the following anthology: M is for Medical (I'm Jack Seymour). I'd like to be recognised as a GoodReads author* as I have some other contributions on the way. When I apply I get an email saying my application hasn't been successful.

I put the email address associated with my account, the publisher of the anthology as the most recent publisher, and a link to the Amazon page where the anthology is for sale. My GoodReads account is linked to my Facebook group as recommended in the email. Are there any further steps I need to take / any further things I can do to verify my identity?

(* Note - when I click on my name, a second book called "American Hot" by Derek Seymour, which I did NOT contribute to, appears. Could this be preventing verification / how do I remove this if my account is created successfully?)

I have removed your name from the other book but other than that there is nothing librarians can do. We are volunteer users who help maintain the database and are not connected to the author program at all. If you have any questions you'll need to contact support directly.
