Recommend a book for a book group

Hi - I am a librarian and have a suspense book club at the library. Next month I would like for us to read a true crime book and would appreciate any recommendation from this group. Ideally published from 2015-2020.

I would recommend "In Cold Blood", by Truman Capote. It s often cited as the epitome of the genre of True Crime writing, and recently as a sterling example of Creative Nonfiction. And it is short.
Warning: It may sour your group members on much True Crime written since. I know it has made me verrrry critical of other specimens of the genre, although not enough that I have stopped reading such books...

For one more recent, let me suggest The Last Stone, a very good read about a cold case investigation.
