i don't think i've ever read a "steamy" romance novel but i've read straight EROTICA books when i was in my early 20's and boy!!! if you want to know a few authors, there's Zane, Sista Soulja and Eric Jerome Dickey (he's more on the softer side of erotica)

I love romance books -- they really got me through 2020, ha! Some of my favorite authors are Abby Jimenez, Tessa Dare and Alyssa Cole. I've read all of Tessa Dare's books and I really CAN NOT wait for her next one.

On the not steamy side of romance, I also love The Coincidence of Coconut Cake by Amy Reichert. I love Milwaukee and all of the food there, so it's perfect.

I'm reading Rebel's Karma by Rebecca Zanetti. It's #13 in her Dark Protectors series. Definitely has steamy parts but also a lot of story.

@becky, thank you for the Ice Barbarian recommendation! I had purchased the first book in 2016 and never read it. So, I loved it and now I am reading book 2.

I recommend anything written by Penny Reid, starting with her Knitting in the City series. The first book is called Neanderthal Seeks Human, and the series follows a knitting group, then spins off to a family in Tennessee.

I started The Vicious Lost Boys series. The first one was The Never King, now I am on book 2, The Dark One. It’s a new (to me) take on Peter Pan and I am enjoying it. It is fairly porny though. But does have some story in it.
