Zaph Stone (zaphtheauthor) | 8 comments Hi there. I've added a pre-order ebook on Kindle Direct and have the ASIN. It wasn't found in Goodreads so I followed the instructions and added it manually. I can now look it up in the giveaway form, but when I go to save it tells me it's from a different author - which it isn't. I unlinked my amazon account and re-linked it and I note that neither the new book nor a previous one that I also added manually come up on the amazon link. How do I resolve this? Thanks in advance - this is quite frustrating.

Sandra | 31613 comments On amazon, for The Source, the author is listed as Peter Vast, though the cover is the same as GR, and we used the Zaph Stone profile.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09...

So, when I click on both, in fact all 3 of your books, they take me directly to the amazon book page.

The amazon/other bookseller links are created by individual members and isn't something that GR does.

Goodreads Librarians are not employees of Goodreads, but volunteers. They have no control over giveaways. If you are having a problem with yours, you'll need to use the Contact Us link on the Help page.

Cynthia Schaefer | 5 comments Goodreads Giveaways says I don't have a cover for my ASIN(B09R3L2TG9), but I do and it shows in my author profile in Goodreads as well as on Amazon. What do I need to do to fix this? Please help.

It did not have a cover here on Goodreads. I have added it.

Cynthia Schaefer | 5 comments Hi Emily,
When I go into the goodreads giveaways I notice I can only choose US there are no other countries available. Does that have to do with my account on amazon? Please let me know.

Thanks,

Cynthia

Whoops! I found the answer to my question in the help section. Thanks Scott for pointing me closer to where I needed to go.

Sharon | 13 comments I am an author and have a giveaway running and I had no idea it has even taken off -- because I am not in the USA or Canada!!!

This really has to be changed by Goodreads -- how can I get the process running? Who is in charge?

As a non-North America author with a giveaway of course I need to see that the book is up, that it is the correct book, that the giveaway has started, and so on; why do you exclude the owner of the giveaway?

We pay money for the giveaway and should be able to monitor it just the same as a North American author. We are obviously not trying to participate.

You need to ask in Help, or contact support directly. See message 3 in this thread for the link.

Finding your giveaway on Goodreads does not have anything to do with your location. You will see it on the book's page if you scroll down a bit. It is also in the main giveaway list.

They must just not have sent an email specifically stating that your giveaway began. I'm not familiar with their process.
As mentioned above you should contact Support with any issues because we do not work for Goodreads or have anything to do with giveaways.
