I don’t think I’ll make it on a tome challenge! I read a near 800 page book this year and it took a little longer than normal! With already having 4 challenges listed, think I’ll hold this one out, as I don’t have that many books in that large a number.
But there’s always next year! 😉

I did Ioana, rated it 4 stars. I will most probably post a couple of notes about it tomorrow. Read it about 40 years ago, and have forgotten most of it, so it was like a new read.

I enjoyed these Bill, even though [author:Thomas Mann|19405] and Umberto Eco did their best to shake me off now and again. Half of a Yellow Sun is an outstanding book.

I was surprised myself when I saw the number of books I have read already Iona. 65 at the present moment. I thought that the pace will slack off as life returns to normal over here. Well, I will have to star dipping in to 2023's quota I suppose. So many books, not enough time. ;,>)

Thanks Carolien. Think for my next long read I will try The Shelters of Stone, at least Jean M. Auel has got nothing against punctuation, and the hot bits are far easier on the eye and brain.
