“No where?” Jade gave her an unconvinced look. “Magic like that doesn’t come from no where.”

Alex ignored him and checked to make sure she still had the rest of her stuff. It was all secure.
Jade huffed, and turned to Angelina.
“What should we do?”

Alex looked up at the older two. Why on earth would she want to go with them? They obviously didn't trust or like her, which was no problem. She was used to that. She didn't like them either. Alex shook her head. "I go alone" she said simply.
Jade’s eye widened a fraction, but he didn’t say anything.
Alex wasn't fazed by that. "I can handle dangerous." She said coolly.
Alex thought for a moment. "Considering I've already met several dragons then I'll be fine."

Alex looked away. "I do things alone." She raised her wand. "
Alex pointed her wand up above her and spun. She disappeared with a crack and ended up behind Angelina. "I think I'll be fine on my own."
Alex looked up at the dragon. "Oh wow you're pretty. I love the color purple." She didn't seem to care about the anger in her eyes.((that would be me, I love dragons and the color purple.))
Alex out away her wand. "Are you a person with a dragon avatar or a dragon with a human avatar?"
Alex thought. "Hmm...I'm guessing you're not completely human then. Maybe one of your parents was a dragon. Its happened."
Alex looked sympathetic. "Well, that probably has something to do with it....."
Alex looked at her and Jade. "Nope, I told you already. I do things alone." She turned away.
“Is she coming or no?” Jade asked, clearly confused
"Fine by me." He shrugged, and turned away from Alex.
"What do you mean?" He looked at her, tilting his head a little.
His eyes widended, and he stammered.
"W-wow..." A smile broke on his face. "That's so cool!!"

"Ah, but that's cool!" He smiled at her.
"I can fight, and kill." He looked down, a little ashamed. (OKay, just saying if he's 19 he's been hired as the Emperors assasin for 1 year at this point.) "Oh, and I can cook pretty well and hunt." He gave her a grin, and shrugged. "Nothing special."
"Thanks, but nothing as cool as what you can do!" He gave her a nudge with his elbow. "Have you always been able to do that?"
"Really??? That's epic! Just don't eat me." His laughed echoed off the walls.
He looked down at her, smiling. She wasn't that much shorter than he was, so their faces were only a few inches apart. He swallowed and took a step back.
"Sorry." He looked down at his shoes.

They stood like that a for few seconds.
"So..u-um." He couldn't think right. *Get a grip.* He told himself harshly. "What's your favorite weapon?"

"You sure have a lot of tricks up your sleeves." He said, grinning.
"If we ever find a forge, and they have the right materials, I'll make you some weapons that are better than...." He motioned to her wood sword and sheild. "Better than wood."

Without really thinking about it, he took a step closer for no reason.
“You don’t have to. I want you to be able to protect yourself from others who are…more dangerous than me.”

He stared down at her, brown eyes sparkling. His heart paced just a tad faster.
“I don’t plan to. But there are others who come from where I’m from, who wouldn’t hesitate to…kill people like you.”

He frowned, but quickly gave her a grin.
“But I’m not those people.”

“What do you mean?” He was still looking down at her.
“Let’s hope so…..run-aways get hunted until they’re killed…so.” Again, he noticed they were very close to each other. An absurd thought popped into his head, and he pushed it away.
Alex had wandered away from the other two. She was fine by herself.... since she always was. She pulled out her wand and lit the tip with a muttered "lumos."
((Actually Alex is a book jumper and has visited Harry Potter, where she got a wand from Ollivander. AND I'M A HUGE HP FAN))
“Yep.” His thoughts wandered, and his eyes dimmed a little.
“Just..it’s..uh..nevermind. It’s nothing.” He gave a sad smile.
He sighed.
"I'll tell you about it later...I'm..not ready yet."

((I'm restraining Veronica right now))Alex walked down the hall with lumos to guide her. The statues were creepy and seemed to move in the faint light.

Alex was feeling nervous. She raised her wand and looked around.....and screamed and jumped back as one of the statues moved! It leaped off its pedestal and swung its sword. She raised her wand and cried. "Reducto!" It blew off one of its arms and it fell back. Then the rest of the statues began to move....
