Jade strapped the dagger to his leg. He took her hand, and looked it.

He held her hand a little longer than needed, before letting go of it.
"Hey..it's okay. I know how to forge weapons, I could make you a weapon that's not wood, but not metal if you want."

"Good." Jade didn't know what came over him, but he stepped forward and wrapped her in a hug.

After a second, he stepped back and ruffled his hair.
"Sorry...I don't know why I.." He clamped his mouth shut before he said anything else stupid. Idiot. You barely know her, she could be acting. He thought to himself.

Jade stared at the ground, not meeting her eyes.
"Uh- Um..yeah." Think! What to say..think Jade.
"Your burns, I have have an ointment for them if you want."

Jade searched his satchel, and pulled out a small jar. (which magically appeared because I'm a writer and can do whatever I want and no one can stop me MWAHAHAHAHAH!!! XD) He unscrewed the top, putting some of the salve on his finger.

Jade looked shocked, and confused all at once.

Jade titled his head, still not fully understanding.

“I can do that pretty well.” Jade gave a grin as sharp as a knife.
“Slap them. That usually works.” He glared at the unconscious guard.
Jade got in the face of the other one, and put the tip of knife to the guard’s stomachs.
“Who sent you to spy on us?” He growled, deepening his voice.

Alex was running home after a hard day at school. The bullies had found her hiding spot in the library and had almost caught her jumping into a book! That would have been disastrous. She shook her head and felt a little tear run down her cheek. She wiped it away. "Come on, you're fourteen. You should be used to bullies now, teenagers don't cry." She sniffed and kept running. She was almost home and passing the park when she saw a little book lying on a bench. She walked over and examined the cover. It had no title. "Curious." She muttered. She opened the book to see what was inside, but the words were in a foreign language, unknown to her. She thought and smiled. "Just one little jump" she whispered. "Nobody has to know." She placed the book on the ground and took a running leap into the open pages. She sank in and screamed as she fell a long, long way until....THUD! She hit the ground.
Jade spun, dagger ready to throw.
“Who are you? Get up. Now!”

Jade ducked his head.
“Sorry.” He looked at the girl, and offered her a hand to stand up.

Alex looked up and took the starve boys hand. He was much taller than she was and much tougher looking. She felt very small inside. "Uh, thanks." She said quietly. She realized her face was still a little wet. She quickly scrubbed away ant excess tears, hoping he didn't notice.
Once the girl was up, he walked over and stood next to Angelina.
“What are your names?” He said roughly.

Alex watched. The two other people here seemed to be having an interrogation. She didn't want to get involved. She decided to sit in the shadows and practice with her wand, or throw daggers. Whichever.
Jade snickered.
“Tonks??” He rolled his eyes.
“You can deal with them, I’m going to see who the new comer is.”

“Who are you? Where’d you come from? Why are you crying?” He tried to sound gentle but he wanted answers, and wanted them now.
Alex looked up. "The name is Alex, I'm from West point, Virginia, and I'm not crying." She wiped off her face. Shoot, he'd seen her tears. She looked like a total baby didn't she.
Jade risked a look at Angelina, before glaring back at this…Alex girl.
“Yes. Do it painfully or quickly, either works.”

"I fell." She said simply. No way was she going to reveal her secret. No one could know.
Jade grinned at her, and motioned for her to come over.
“This is Alex and she fell crying.”

“Oh, so water just appears on your face then?”
(And Jade’s 5 years older, cuz at this point he’s 19. )

“We should just leave her here.” Jade told Angelina, getting ready to turn and walk away.

Jade stared at both of the girls.

(So does Alex, Wand, bow, saxe knife, dagger, etcAlex glanced at it. "That's nice" she said simply.
“They’re killed. It’s evil to practice any of that where I’m from.” He looked at Alex with caution.
((Yeah, I've been thinking about it and Alex has an insane amount of weapons and training))Alex thought about it. "Its evil where I come from too, but I didn't get this from my world."
Alex slapped a hand over her mouth. Shoot! Anything else and she might reveal her secret. She decided to stay quiet, or use obliviate on them.
Jade raised an eyebrow.
“Where’d you get it then?”

"Uhhhh....no where." She muttered. She stood up and brushed the dust off her jeans. Jumping always made her dirty.
"It's made of the strongest metal, so it won't break when hitting it hard against other blades.. Sharp too."
