I ended up closing it after clicking on different titles 5 times, then randomly clicking the first option another 5 just to see if it ended and finally closing the tab. There's no feedback. I had no idea if I was 5/15 or 5/infinite.
A poll is the wrong approach in my view. The best name is born out of the story itself - not what might sound good - so how can people help you if they're not intimately familiar with your story?
My current publisher queried the title of my next book, asking what on Earth it meant. But by the time he'd read it twice he agreed it was perfect.

There are some famous books which originally had very different titles

The Jika Project. That's not based on the blurb, which I didn't read and rarely do, it's title alone that I found most interesting. The main thing is the cover. if I like the cover, and if the title seems to be in sync (in my humble judgment :) or at least not off the deep end) I'll look inside.

Hi! I've just finished a speculative fiction novel, but I'm struggling with the name and I'd love to get some input from sci-fi/fantasy readers to help me dial it in.
I put together a quick poll here. It shows a few names at a time and asks which you like better for the book:

(I've removed all links or promotional content from that page to avoid self-promotion. It's just a simple poll.)
Just a few seconds of your time would be super helpful. Thank you so much!
