Did you enjoy, Shaz? I liked England's Perfect Hero by her (which I read a while ago). I am reading Grace Burrowes' Miss Dignified for my Regency.

So, I did it again.... and that's annoying. I've read "Forget Me Not" for the American War of January and guess what?!?! No American War on the trope, besides the fact that one of the character who dies in the beginning of the book, dies in American War... the good thing it's that I loved the book!
lol I'm sorry! if I knew you were reading this book for Revolutionary War, I would have warned you. Atleast you enjoyed it!

Starting to read my February read for Highlander Terri Brisbin
The Highlander’s Inconvenient Bride 👰♀️

Yes! I meant for the timeframe to include both WWs and the time in between.

I'm reading for January American Revolution The Lacemaker by Laura Frantz this one it's not a mistake! :D
Finished To love an earl by ElizabethThornton for Regency theme. Was a great read. The love hate and the H forcing and controlling the h through sex was difficult to accept. But I guess this kind of dominance is seen in many HR novels. Reminded me of Johanna Lindsey novels
Sandra wrote: "I'm reading for January American Revolution The Lacemaker by Laura Frantz this one it's not a mistake! :D"I think I gave that one 3 stars, but it had a really interesting setting and I learned a lot. I'm probably doing both
and
for Victorian.
@Christine, I'm doing #2 of the Bow Street Runners for my Victorian. Lady Sophia's Lover. I'll be interested to see how you find #3 (Worth Any Price). So far in my book, the MC of #3 is coming across as quite a criminal! Interested to see how that can be turned around for his own book.
I have read the series bow street runners I liked Lady Sophia Lover the best. Gave it 5 stars the other two 4 stars . Hope you enjoy Jan.
Shaz wrote: "I have read the series bow street runners I liked Lady Sophia Lover the best. Gave it 5 stars the other two 4 stars . Hope you enjoy Jan."Thanks Shaz. I've read the first book and enjoyed it, so I will keep going with this one.
I read Bound by Your Touch by Meredith Duran for my Victorian era read for March. I've read it before way back in 2017, but could remember almost nothing about it so it was almost like a new read LOL. I haven't changed from my original review of it. I enjoyed it again. A good romance with a nice little mystery as well. 3.5 to 4 stars.
I was going to read Lady Sophia's Lover for March and I might still come back to that. Will have to see how the rest of the month goes.
Finished Lacy by Diana Palmer for WW timeperiod. Set during WWI and post WWI. Was a very good read with 3 love stories
@Jan, I may read the Bow Street Runners out of order as I liked the purple cover of Worth Any Price haha.
I read
I enjoyed it. 3.5 to 4* I started the next in the series but may hold off on it as it is more of a serious subject than I want in a hr today.
So it turns out I am not reading the list in order :(For Victorian, I read - 'Til Death Do Us Part. I am always assured of a good book with Quick and this was no exception. I particularly l liked the inclusion of Victorian memento mori in the story.
I also read A Buccaneer at Heart for the Around the World category. It is set in Africa. This series is not as good as her Bastion Club and Black Cobra books.
Life got in the way so Hoopla returned When the Duke Was Wicked before I could finish it (I will definitely get back to it next month), so I read John Eyre: A Tale of Darkness and Shadow; a retelling of Jane Eyre by Mimi Mathews.
This month I read Morning Glory by LaVyrle Spencer (WW2) and A Momentary Marriage by Candace Camp (Victorian). Both five star reads, but I think Morning Glory has earned a spot in my all time favourites! Would probably never have discovered it if it weren't for this challenge. :)

I enjoyed both those reads but agree Morning Glory is remarkable!

My first choice for April is going to be The Blue Rose by Kate Forsythe; France, 18th century. A retelling of B&B! :)
For April I'm going to read Mr. Impossible which is also one of our April BOTMs. Two birds with one stone ;) It will be a reread but it's a few years since I first read it and I can hardly remember anything, so it will be like a new read. I do remember enjoying it though.
Merry Jewelhound wrote: "I am doing the same Jan, but for me I am reading it for the first time."Hope we both enjoy. I like some of Loretta Chase's older books rather than her latest series.
I'm reading The Matrimonial Advertisement https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4... for Gothic and loving every moment!!
I read 4 Victorian books this month. I'll just list my favorite:
Still working on books for WW1 to WW2 era.
Merry Jewelhound wrote: "Sandra I enjoyed the book I look forward to your review."
Merry, Still thinking in the review!! 😉

I was going to read The Paris Library by Janet Skeslien Charles for World War theme, but I think I'm not in the mood... do you have some suggestions about this theme?! Some HR romance, a good one! 😉

I finished my April book for Around The World, Mr. Impossible by Loretta Chase. Set in Egypt in the 1870s. A fun and enjoyable read. 4 stars. Also BOTM for April :)
I think I'm going to "use" this book
Dangerous Passions
for April's Around the World, I'm late in the BOTM's reading for March, it takes place in Austria so it's good to go, yes?

Just finished Thief of Hearts for Pirate and absolutely adored it. I think Teresa Medeiros is rapidly becoming a favorite author.
