I read this book in 2016.

This book is about three children(two boys and a girl) who goes to a bookshop to meet their favorite author finds him missing and sets off to find him.They are joined by a lady and four of them finds the author inside a hotel room.But the girl in the group realizes that the author is a woman and is none other than the lady with them and the man they found inside the hotel room is authors cousin.
The author lives in a castle and her name starts with either M or W(I don"t remember which) and she (presumed to be a man)refuses to send her photographs to them when they requested her to in one of their letters.Her cousin lives in a cottage and loves fish
This is all I remember.Please help me
