S&L Podcast - #205 - Brian McClellan Grows His Own Spaghetti Sauce

Fun episode, though I admit I'm more intrigued about his "recipe" for spaghetti sauce than the new book at the moment...
Based on his oblique reference to a character he loved getting killed off, I suspect that Brian McClellan dropped the Star Wars novels at about the same point I did.
Brian's doing an AMA on reddit today if you have any new questions. http://www.reddit.com/r/Fantasy/comme...

Didn't Rothfuss capitulate and publish a "that'll hold 'em" book that's about the same length as each of Vandermeer's Southern Reach books?
Good podcast! Although I must admit I haven't rushed out to buy The Autumn Republic yet despite reading Promise of Blood and The Crimson Campaign.

One was more pleasant than the other.

And both really care about their prose. Interesting parallel.
But @Trike, the second and third books of the trilogy are somewhere between 300/400 pages. So nowhere near novella territory.
I got my hands on Autumn Republic and can't put it down. I feel like each book is better than the last!

That actually makes me want to read the 2nd and 3rd books even less. I was on the fence at 190 pages. 300? Probably not.
