Finished! Me too, it’s all really interesting and I like that Steven king explains it all well because that’s why I sometimes shy away from sci-fi and fantasy bc I’m dumb and can’t keep up with world building or rules and whatnot 😂 but this is great I obviously understand the little simple system and the whole Carolyn thing explained the effect it has on the future and whatnot

I finished 6 and then I wondered if this was made into a movie also so I had to check or I wouldn't be able to concentrate on the rest so I did and it's actually a TV show on Hulu (I think you have Hulu right?)

That's true because I swear something about it is slower, it takes us about an hour and a half now instead of just a little over or just about an hour

Like when I think about time travel, it's more of a "I wish I had more time to do x thing" and not "I wish I could prevent mass murder" so I guess that's why I've never been invited on a time traveling adventure :(

I don't expect it in his horror books but I thought he'd be nice here /: No niceness for me. And omg, in the physical book at least.. it looks like we've made so much progress when it's open and I'm reading just for me to close it and it's like... nothing. And goodreads is like "26%" 😭😭😭 why is this book so thick.

My main thing I'm tugging with is whether or not he'll end up staying in the past and hoping that the effect on the future was positive, or if he'll just have to go back to 2011 to make sure he didn't ruin the world lmao

Because to come back to 2011, 5 years aged, after being completely submerged in a different life for 5 years... would he want to come back?

But then also... I would DEFINITELY want to know what saving JFK did to the future.

But ALSO... maybe he never saves JFK. Or maybe he dies in the process.

Also fair warning: slight venting

But I may or may not be in the mood to read tomorrow I’ll let you know. I was annoyed with my cousin because my aunt called and asked me to take my cousin to school in the am, and I usually don’t mind. BUT tomorrow is my busiest day of the week. Starting next week all T, W and TH will be but for now Wednesday is the only day I have work and school. And I asked my cousin if she could take him instead of me because .. that’s her brother and she said no because she had her exam. So they basically said I was the last resort and I said yes because … don’t want him to miss school.

BUT ANYWAY i was annoyed because I found out I don’t think her class starts until the same time as mine. Meaning she has time to take him. And my insomnia has been really bad lately so I’ve been sleeping at 3-4am even with a melatonin pill. And she knows that. And I have to wake up at 6:45 to get ready and pick him up at 7:45 then come home, eat breakfast, go to class, go to work. So I’m annoyed because I’m 99.9% sure she could’ve taken him and she lied and I’m gonna be running off of 3 hours of sleep and I can’t even come home and nap because I’m so behind on hw. Well I SHOULDNT nap, so depending on how exhausted I am I might just have to catch up w you the next day or skip tomorrow because 😑

I may nap and end up just up all night studying idk idk. I’ll let you know before 9 for sure.
