This continues to be a must-buy for me. Love this world and these characters. Fave quote: “I love you. You are my love first, my queen second, and I will love you and serve you for long as there is breath in this body.”
I've got this one, but I was thinking I'd have to peek at the last one, before I read True Dead, just so I got the facts straight. It just seems so long ago I read the last one, but its probably not.....

Checked my read dates - I read #13 in 2019. I wasn’t sure I’d remember what happened but the recaps throughout brought it back.
Just checked my read date for
~ it was November 2019. So nearly 2 yrs ago.And just realised #13.5 Liz Everhart's story is in
so I'll have to read that first, cause I've only read R.J. Blain's story in that one. I think I was holding off till the next book was out ...... and now it is :D
Faith Hunter is my go to author and her Jane Yellowrock series is a must read. No favorite quote or scene. Just had a hard time visualizing her half form. But probably the scenes were she freaked people out and her crew just acted all “business as usual “.
Jane Yellowrock is always a must read for me. I may have struggled with the beginning when she referenced something and I wondered “Am I suppose to remember that...”. Then we got enough backstory to spare me a re-read if the last book. I want to tackle this series from the beginning again. This might be a good one for the group series if we haven’t tackled this one yet.
Recommended this one again this weekend. I will definitely keep hanging with this series and the spinoffs.
It was quite wicked a sight to try to conjure. Totally agree! I so love this series. The characters have changed so much since the beginning - as Faith really highlighted in this installment - I might have to re-read again at some point, too. I've been wondering (secretly hoping) it'd get voted as one of our series reads for the year, maybe 2022. ;)
