I am super excited! I was finally approved for All the Dangerous Things and Santa's Little Yelpers. :) I almost withdrew my request for All the Dangerous Things because it had been so long and I thought for sure it was going to be a decline.

If anyone is interested in buddy reading either, let me know! All the Dangerous Things doesn't publish until January, so I'm thinking November/December, but Santa's Little Yelpers publishes October 10th, so that one'll be soon.

Elyse, I really enjoyed A Flicker in the Dark and I've seen reviews saying All the Dangerous Things is even better, so I was really hoping to get it. :) Fingers crossed you get it!

That is awesome Kristie! I just requested it so fingers crossed! It sounds good and I also have a physical copy of A Flicker in the Dark on my tbr shelf. Just haven't got to it yet.

I am also very excited because I got my approval today for Finlay Donovan Jumps the Gun by Elle Cosimano

I read the first two of the series and loved them! I just think Finlay and her trusty sidekick Vero are plumb adorable and such fun characters! Did anybody else get an approval for this? I'd love to buddy read it! It's due out Jan 30.

I still have Finlay Donovan Jumps the Gun on my pending shelf. I also loved the first two, but for some reason don't seem to get approved for them. Fingers crossed that my luck changes and I get this one! 🤞🏻🙏🏻 I'll definitely let you know if I get it (or not).

I've never actually withdrawn a request, but it was sitting there for such a long time that I really thought it was going to be a decline and I didn't want to increase my number of declines. lol No idea why that mattered to me. Regardless, I am super happy that I didn't withdraw anything because I ended up being approved for all three. :)

Yeah the ratio only includes Approved Titles and Submitted Feedback. That's it.

If you request a book both audio and print - could you be approved for both and does it count as two reads? Would I put the review in both categories?

Yes, it counts as two on NG. If you receive both formats you leave a review on each. I usually copy and paste my review, but add something about the audio/narrator in the audio review that I leave out of the Kindle review.

Hi all - I've noticed a bunch of buddy reads popping up from other buddy reads and not coming from this thread, which is perfectly fine. However, if you think of it, please mention in this thread that you will be starting a buddy read so that others that might want to join can see it.

Also, I am trying to add them all to the calendar. I think I've got them all added, but if I missed one please mention it here and I'll add it.
