Finally!!! Let's hope project is not going to be aborted like previous try from Evolving Pictures a few years ago.Fingers crossed🤞

UPDATE TO ACQUISITION OF NECROSCOPE(r) RIGHTS from Barbara Ann Lumley, Brian's wife and agent. It seems the rights for the movie are still not acquired :(I understand things can be very confusing despite what it may look like. No one knows how Hollywood works except the folks who work in Hollywood.
I have been informed by the appropriate party concerned that at this moment in time the rights have not been acquired although there is interest by Revelations. It's just a release to get info out there.
However,the first five books have been optioned since October of 2020.
We see this as the process:
The first step is the option. Which is just an option. A fee is paid for the rights for a certain period of time until if/when they can find someone how wants to buy the rights outright.
The second step is to find someone (movie company, etc.) be interested enough to BUY the rights to move to the next step.
The third step is the all important contract. Once step two is done then comes the long, long contract which has to be read and agreed upon. It's not a short contract like one for an option.
The forth step once the contract is signed by all parties concerned, then there is the possiblity for filming in one form or another. But this can be a short or a long process depending on how quickly the company wants to work.
The best thing we can do is keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best. Stay optimistic.
PLEASE Remember ... as I have said many times before and will say again, when Brian and I know something definite I will most definitely let everyone know. The first place it will be posted will be right here on FB.

I just finished re-reading the Necroscope series and am now reading Blood Brothers about Harry's sons. Really excited about this news. I've been waiting for a movie, TV show or animation series for a long time.
Finally! And sounds like they're taking the right approach in TV show or animated show.
