Part 1 chapt 1-3
(view spoiler)[I read book 1 awhile ago so some of the characters I only remember vaguely. I like learning about Cora and the place she went to. She felt so much better there than at home kinda sad really. I'm glad so found a friend in Nadya. The Rini situation is weird but she was so funny. I was laughing at how every dealt with her nakedness. I'm also trying to figure out how the whole put Sumi back together plan is gonna work out (hide spoiler)]

Part 2 chapt 4-6
(view spoiler)[Wow lots going on. Raising Sumi's skeleton traveling to where Nancy is and finding Sumi's soul. I thought Christopher would stay behind but was surprised when Nadya decided to stay. I was sad for Cora though because that was her only friend the person she related the most to. Then on to Confection I wonder what they will find there. Will they be able to find the last part of Sumi? I'm also wondering why people get chosen to go to places with no logic or heavy logic. Does it have to do with them having a less stuctured life? Or more structured? (hide spoiler)]

I'm glad the baker could figure out how to help get Sumi all the way back I wonder how this is gonna affect her later. How do you people get chosen for each door/world? Maybe random? I honestly love seanan’s way with words. They have such talent with making things sound so whimsical and intriguing.

I also love that this involves Kade and christopher from the first book. I’m so interested in Christopher’s day of the dead world.

Ohhh Cora is a mermaid from a water world. I love that idea. But I hate that she considers herself ugly as she is now. And only beautiful in the water world.

Nadya’s world doesn’t sound as nice. MAybe it’s the drowned part of the title. Lol

Oohh. Sumi’s daughter is here. But I still don’t understand how sumi had a daughter.
Wow. Nonsense worlds are truly confusing. 😂. So she exists in her world. But is now ceasing to exist because sumi’s real world death is catching up to her?!
Christopher’s plan sounds amazing, which means this book is going to be super interesting.

(view spoiler)[ Wow Jack and Jills parents are so aweful. Having the Grandmother take care of the twins then tell her to leave 5 years later without being able to say goodbye. Telling people she is the nanny. We now get to see the world they fall into the first dude is suspicious definitely. I wonder what the twins are going to think of the person they end up with. Chapt 6-9
(view spoiler)[Jack seemed to know the castle wasn't a place she wanted to be early on but Jill was blinded by all the pretty things. Their parents really did them a disservice by pitting them up against each other. I was glad Jack was able to find someone that she enjoyed being with. Jill was so alone and bitter. I'm looking forward to seeing how they ended up at the school and their regular world. (hide spoiler)]
