You are so right Lauren. And as you say I don't really know if I trust those reviews. People could be bias beacaue of her other established series'.

Maybe I'll try Quite in her bones. I need the "Q" for a challenge read.

Fantastic month, Laura! Thanks for the reminder about that K. A. Tucker series. I read the first book and loved it. Somehow I never went back to the series.

Sorry you’re bailing on Lucy Kincaid. We are now in Texas and these stories are really good.

Glad to see you loved Verity as I’m trying to squeeze that in.

22 books is awesome! Love when one can clear some tbr books. That's a win for me.

So Laura. K. Bromberg. Tell me more.
You know I need a tear jerker for a challenge.

Driven series not really tear jerker in traditional sense. Other woman drama which you know I love, child abuse etc which choked me up. It is super angsty. Crashed is my favorite . If
you want a sob fest read Making Faces.

It's nothing like her usual. One too many twists for me though. But that's just me.

My advice? I'm lost.

Which one is the tearjerker? I thought it was the Bromberg books? There's another one?
OH lordy I think someone did recommend it (Making faces) and I just can't remember who 🤔🤦‍♀️

message 61: by Michelle (new)

Michelle | 3276 comments Other woman drama. Should have known. But the rest. Hmmmm. Will have to give it another look. I don't think I can handle angst and abuse issues right now.

As for sob fest? I'll keep it because challenge

I'll read one more Lucy book. I like edgy and with Sean's background he's too much of a choir boy. The two of them act like they an old married couple. Even the cases are clean. That's just me though.

Impressive reading here, especially your Suzanne Wright binge. Your MC series look interesting. I’ve been into those lately.

LAURA Harley Wylde is a bit of a repeat offender in that it's almost all age gaps. Damsel in distress. Those distress can be pretty harsh circumstances and they do need help if not rescue. It's not so much about the motorcycle club as it is about the members finding they significant others. She has 4 or 5 MC series.

As for Jeanne St James this is a second a
MC series that I'm ready by this author. So far so good. I loved the other one as well.
