I second the Jeff Lane recommendation. The Goliverse should support their own

message 8: by Docxen (new)

Docxen | 159 comments Rodney i trust your instincts even though he compares it to twilight in the description ...i third the nomination

message 9: by SciFiNow (new)

Nicole (co984life) | 115 comments Mod
That is not what he compared it too SciFiNow. Doc is not to be trusted at times.

Docxen | 159 comments look at the description

message 12: by Docxen (new)

Docxen | 159 comments http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/this-... description is 2/3 of the way down Described as Stephen King meets X-men or Star Wars meets Jason Bourne,
this eBook will appeal to fans of Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Anne
Rice, Scott Sigler, Mark Yoshimoto Nemcoff, Harry Potter or the
Twilight series.

Nicole (co984life) | 115 comments Mod
It doesn't compare it to Twilight. It says it will appeal to fans of it.

Brett Cully (theamazingbrett) | 2 comments I say we read Princess of mars by Edgar Rice Burroughs. Its the first book in the John Carter series. great book and not to long either.

message 17: by Nathan (new)

Nathan | 34 comments Ooh. Princess of Mars could be good. I've been meaning to read that for several years now. I love the Tarzan books by Boroughs. I'm sure the Mars books are good as well.

I would also propose that top vote is March and second is April. Let people start planning their reading ahead. Especially if they are using library or something similar.

message 22: by Docxen (new)

Docxen | 159 comments great idea rodney

message 23: by SciFiNow (new)

SciFiNow | 89 comments well i was going to nominate heir to the jedi for april because it comes out 3-3-15, its the next star wars book and this one has luke. Loving how all these star wars novels are official canon now.

SciFiNow I will add it to the poll for March but I'll also do a poll about nominations to see which method people like best.

My only concern with new books is the aforementioned concern. Some people don't have the disposable income and buying a new hardcover can be difficult. Relying on a library can be difficult as new releases are often on a wait list.
