Well, I finally caved and got a Facebook account. Not sure why I was so reluctant, but now that I've bitten the bullet, maybe some of you would be willing to check me out on Facebook and let me know if I'm doing this whole thing right...Thanks!

Are you creating a personal page for you and your friends/family? Or are you trying to make a public page for promotion? Right now you have a personal page set up where people have to request to be your friend. If you are going for a promotional page I'd recommend changing the settings if possible or setting up a public page like other authors I follow. I haven't done one myself but it's more like this:

I had hoped to be able to do both with one page, but now I realize that's not really possible. Thanks for the feedback! Very helpful. I'll set up a separate promotional page...
