There are many holidays in February and this challenge is about those holidays.

1. Groundhog's day: Read a book with a groundhog on the cover OR a book with a brown cover OR a book where shadows are important to the story.

2. Candlemas: Read a book with a candle on the cover OR a book with a virgin main character.

3. Abraham Lincoln's birthday: Read a book where a birthday is important to the plot OR read a book with a main character or author whose name is Abraham or Lincoln

4. Valentine's Day: Read a book with hearts on the cover OR read a love story with a happily ever after OR read a book with the word "Love" in the title OR read a book with a red, pink or white cover.

5. President's Day: Read a book whose main character is a person who runs a country (king, Queen, Czar, President, Dictator etc) OR read a book where a the main character goes on vacation (in the US, schools are closed for a week for a mid-winter vacation).

6. Chinese New Year: Read a book with a sheep on the cover (its the year of the sheep) OR read a book with a chinese main character or author OR read a book set in China OR read a book where any kind of New Year holiday or celebration is in the plot.

7. George Washington's Birthday~ Read a book with a character or author whose name is George or Washington OR read a book with a main character who is involved in a war of some kind (can be a real war or fantasy war). Bonus if the main character is the leader in the war.

8. Leap Year (Not til 2016): Read a book with the word "Leap" in the title OR read a book where the main character CANNOT celebrate their birthday for any reason OR read a book that is fourth in a series.
