I haven't updated in a while. I've read some great books so far this year...some pretty bad ones too. I'm currently reading The Girl Who Saved the King of Sweden and am reading Tuck Everlasting aloud to one kid, and Alice in Wonderland to the other.

Jackie B. - Death by Tsundoku (reiwing2040) | 1343 comments You've read quite a variety of literature this year Jennifer. How do you decide what you read next?

message 12: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer | 95 comments I participate in a lot of the group reads here, which tend to be more mainstream fiction, and from another Goodreads group that tends to focus on small independent publishers. I also like to get suggestions from friends and from some of my favorite podcasts for non-fiction. Then every so often I add in a classic that I should have read but never did, or that needs a re-reading. I also read some good cheesy horror/post apocalyptic thrillers from the bargain downloads when I want something mindless to enjoy.
