I’m on my phone so I haven’t updated the spreadsheet yet, but I finished Monstress, Vol. 1: Awakening

I've finished my 5th book. That leaves only 4 prompts. Do we have info on whether the members who signed up for those will be able to complete them or do we have enough backups? Basically, I'd like to know if I should try to finish another book tomorrow. My Agatha Raisin book will fill the "title with more than 25 characters" prompt.
I’ll have Bunny finished tomorrow, I’m off all day and 3/4 of the way through. That’s the last one I was signed up to read!
I am planning to finish my books I have signed up for, not sure why everyone wants to fill the more than 25 characters prompt. I guess I should have read them first.

Congratulations to all the teams who are finished with their primary 50 tasks! Here is a extra treat for you to test yourself a bit further:
*Read 3 books for any of the 1-book tasks (no repeating prompts)
*Read 3 books for any of the 2-book tasks (no repeating prompts)
*Read 3 books for any of the 3-book tasks (prompts may be repeated)
Good luck..."

Can you read Agatha Raisin and the Wizard of Evesham for the "1 book from one series with 25+ books" prompt?
@ZiggyWill you be finishing both Beautiful Ruins AND Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore ?
What does the black square at prompt "3 books you shelved in the month you joined this group." mean?
Nikki wrote:.....Also, if I finish my "last" assigned book/prompt, should I still continue reading something to count the pages? Or should I pick something that fits a prompt? I'm not sure which, if any, need yet be filled.@Nikki
Are you reading another book?
@oshizuI made Clay's Ark one of the bonus reads for "book by an author who has written 25 or more books."
Ziggy wrote: "I have only about 40 pages left to read on Messenger which should fit for bonus book Read 2 books with over 25,000 ratings each on Goodreads"Super! I've marked it for a Bonus read. Thanks

For Bonus Prompts Need:
3 books for any of the 1-book tasks
2 books for any of the 2-book tasks (maybe only 1)
no repeating prompts
I've finished An Ember in the Ashes for the book in a series of 4. This is my last completed book during the read-a-thon but I'll still log my pages/hours for tomorrow.
Just to clarify, a team cannot start counting books toward the bonus prompts until it has first completed the initial 50 prompts, with or without Wild Cards.
Almeta wrote: "@ZiggyWill you be finishing both Beautiful Ruins AND Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore ?...."
Ziggy wrote: "...They are both completed. ."
So, Beautiful Ruins could be used for "published in 2012 or in the Best Books of 2012 listopia."
and Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore for "with a title consisting of 25 characters minimum"?
oshizu wrote: "Just to clarify, a team cannot start counting books toward the bonus prompts until it has first completed the initial 50 prompts, with or without Wild Cards."YEP, Gotcha.
Kristina wrote: "I've finished An Ember in the Ashes for the book in a series of 4. This is my last completed book during the read-a-thon but I'll still log my pages/hours for tomorrow."Terrific! Thanks Kristina!
I don't care if my book (the guest list) fills the 25000 ratings prompt or someone elses does. I am going to very much try and finish this book by the end of my day (I've blocked the evening off for reading, so it should be fine :p). But it's fine if it is counted as a 'bonus' prompt as well for me :)

...........And the people reading these prompts because some are almost done would be bonus reads.........😀
I’m not sure how others feel about this....just throwing it out there I’m good either way
I agree with this strategy. Before I make these changes, I wanted to hear from each team member. I don't think anyone is attached to a certain prompt, but they DO want to know that they contributed to the goal.
Yes, I can finish it today.

I’m good with this! I’m almost done with Bunny and it can work for a bonus prompt. Has at least 25 chapters and it has a scene with 2 or more people reading together.
Can you read Tailor of Panama for "A book you read in 2012" Bonus?
Regina, will take this prompt.
@ Texual HealersI have re-arranged the prompts for those books that have not been completed yet, and substituted books that have been competed.
Please continue to read and finish your assigned books. I have marked them for the "Bonus" prompts.
Ziggy wrote: "....On the bad news my day off today has been cancelled this morning and I will probably be working a 10 hour day,so this will be my last book of the challenge...."Sorry that you will have a long working day, and can't continue to read today.
BUT be of good cheer, Messenger fit in perfectly for some re-arranging.
Thank you for your helpful suggestions for re-assigning some of the prompts. Each of your tips made a difference in the planning. Happy to have you as my back-up assistant and sounding board.
@Textual HealersHere are the BONUS prompt assignments
Michelle ~ Solos = with at least 25 chapters or sections.
✔️Regina ~ Solos = A book you read in 2012
Brittany ~ Solos = with a scene of 2+ people reading together..
✔️Regina ~ Duets = book from one series with 25+ books
Deidre ~ Duets = books with 25,000+ ratings each on Goodreads.
✔️Almeta ~Duets = published in 2012 or in the Best Books of 2012 listopia.
✔️Almeta~ Trio = books by an author who has written for 25+ years.
✔️Oshizu ~ Trio =books by an author who has written 25 or more books.
✔️Almeta ~Trio =books you shelved in the month you joined this group.
I have finished my bonus book and updated the spreadsheet.
Almeta, I can read Double Indemnity for a book I read in 2012, if you still need that bonus. It’s only 102 pages and I can easily knock that one out this evening.
Regina wrote: "Almeta, I can read Double Indemnity for a book I read in 2012, if you still need that bonus. It’s only 102 pages and I can easily knock that one out this evening."Yes that would really be helpful. Thanks!
Regina wrote: "I have finished my bonus book and updated the spreadsheet."That's great!
I moved your record temporarily. A moderator is supposed to add the BONUS prompts to the spreadsheet for us to use.
Double Indemnity by James M Cain completed for Bonus: a book I read in 2012. Whew!
Hi Team, I have added the bonus prompts to your spreadsheet. Since Regina had already added her bonus book, I had to move it to the right cell. If you have any questions, let me know.
Regina wrote: "Double Indemnity by James M Cain completed for Bonus: a book I read in 2012. Whew!"Perfect!
I’ve updated my final pages for the read-a-thon. Also, there’s still The Final Revival of Opal and Nev that I finished a couple days ago that can be placed if needed (I think it was overlooked when all the reshuffling happened). Good job completing the challenge everyone!
Goodmorning~I finished the guest list last night before going to sleep :) I'm sorry for keeping you in suspense, hehe. I'll try and modify it in the spreadsheet! :)
Good work team!!
Edit: The thing I added in the spreadsheet went out of the cell and didn't stay in the cell, so I don't know how to fix that :p
I fixed it for you, Michelle.
