What does everyone think of reading about characters who are making food or eating in books? does it make you hungry or is it something that does not appeal to us as readers?

House03 | 26 comments I like it! Makes it feel more real, and I feel that I connect a bit more with characters who eat.

It always bothers me a bit when they're never hungry/dirty/needing to use the washroom. Sometimes it bothers me when characters never seem to need to sleep too, but it happens a lot less. I mean, for the most part, their human! Humans need to do certain things to exist!
